Kortney Jenks – President 


Kortney has been in the Human Resources field for 7 years in a variety of industries and Human Resource functions.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay.  Kortney received her SHRM-CP certification in December 2016.

Kortney currently works at the City of Oshkosh in Oshkosh, WI as their HR Generalist. In her role she supports recruiting, wellness, training and strategic planning.  Kortney strives to continue her learning and growth in the HR Profession. She is excited to bring her experience and previous secretarial experience to the FVSHRM Board.

Nykki Milhaupt – Past President 

Nykki Milhaupt, currently serving as the FVSHRM President brings more than 10 years of experience across the spectrum of HR operations with a stubstantial focus in the areas of compensation design and operations. Nykki graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from UW – Madison (Go Badgers) and received her MBA from Edgewood College in Madison.

Nykki currently works with the BizOps team at CliftonLarsonAllen as a Compensation Consultant. In her role she fulfills the compensation needs for CLA clients nationwide.  

Nykki is passionate about serving her local communities, getting involved and making an impact wherever and whenever she can.

Candace Watters - Secretary


Candace Watters, SHRM-CP has been in the Human Resources field for just over 8 years in a variety of HR functions. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management and Leadership Development from Rasmussen College and is going to complete her Master’s Degree in Human Resources and Business Management from Concordia University in 2020. Candace had also obtained her SHRM-CP designation in June of 2018.

Candace currently works at Plexus in Neenah as a Senior Human Resources Generalist. In her role, she creates, implements, and manages HR strategies, services, and programs to support their ever growing workforce.

Candace is dedicated to learning and growing within the HR profession and enjoys teaching and developing the next generation of HR professionals. She also enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and reading.

Brian Knoke - VP of Membership


Brian has over 25 years of experience recruiting, training, and leading employees for family owned businesses to fortune 500 companies.  Born and raised in the Fox Cities, he graduated from UWGB with a degree in Marketing, and has returned after 5 years in the Twin Cities.  Currently the Area Manager for Qualified Staffing, he is looking forward to contributing to the professional development of Human Resource Leaders in the Fox Cities.

Brian enjoys woodworking, fishing, and time with his family (including Quinn, their dog.)

Jonathon Eiden – VP of Legislation


Jonathon is currently working with Von Briesen and Roper as an Attorney working on Labor and Employment law. Jon earned his Doctorate from UW Madison in 2010  and has been practicing law in the Valley since he moved here about 6 years ago. Jon is excited to welcome the opportunity to contribute to the education of HR Professionals here in the Fox Valley while staying up to date on all issues related to HR.

Chelsey Latimer - VP of Programming


Chelsey Latimer, SHRM-CP has been in the Human Resources Field/related Leadership fields for 15 years in a variety of industries.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Currently, Chelsey works at Alta Resources as an Employee Relations Specialist where she manages the Employee Relations department in WI and provides general HR support to more than 1,200 employees onsite and at our fulfillment center, also providing global support to the company’s offices in the Philippines and Belize.   In her role, she is responsible for employee engagement, performance management and strategic corporate initiatives that have a direct impact on employee retention and success.

Chelsey is passionate about relationship building and supporting other HR professionals in maintaining their current certifications and continued education.


Lori Rausch - VP of Workforce Readiness


Lori has been in Human Resources for over 20 years in various roles in the manufacturing industry.  She has worked in both union and non-union environments with a concentration on employee relations and training and development.  She holds an Associates of Arts in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Human Resource Management from American InterContinental University; graduating with honors.  She also earned her PHR in early 1998 and is currently studying to earn her SHRM-SCP.  For the past two years Lori has volunteered on the WISHRM Conference Committee helping to enhance the HR experience for the many who attend each year. 

Currently Lori is the Human Resources Manager for Great Northern Laminations with responsibilities at the corporate office in Appleton as well as the four remote locations in CA, OR, PA and FL.  In her role, she develops Human Resource policies and programs in organizational planning, employee development, employment, on-boarding, training, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and employee services that adhere with the company’s vision, mission and core values.

Lori’s passion within HR has been the training and development of the employees and helping them become future leaders of an organization.  She is looking forward to taking this same passion out into the community to help others in need become productive and contributing employees.   When not working, Lori enjoys spending time with her family, traveling (especially in the winter months!), camping during the summer and reading. 

Jennifer Hazaert – President Elect


Jen has over 15 years' experience in the Human Resources Field. She recieved her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources at UW Green Bay. Jen also has her SHRM-SCP and SPHR Certifications. 

Currently, Jen works at Plexus as a Human Resources Business Partner. She is also proudly served on the FVSHRM VP of Programming from 2016-2018. 

Angela Murray – Treasurer


Angela has been in the Human Resources field for 16 years in a variety of industries and Human Resource functions.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin – Stout.  Angela received her PHR certification in June of 2014 and her SHRM-CP certification in January 2015. 

Angela currently works at Alta Resources in Neenah, WI as their Compensation & Benefits Manager. In her role she is responsible for the management of Alta Resources global compensation and benefit programs as well as advising, counseling, and training management and staff on compensation and benefits policies and procedures.

Angela is dedicated to continual learning and growth in the HR profession and enjoys making valuable contributions to FVSHRM Board and being a strategic partner in the continued improvement of the financial process for the Board and Chapter  

Michelle Leiting  - VP of College Relations


Michelle Leiting, SHRM-SCP, PHR has worked in the Human Resources field for over 7 years. She graduated with a Bachelors in Human Resources Management with a minor in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Her PHR was obtained in December 2015 and SHRM-SCP obtained in 2018. Michelle is currently employed with Plexus Corp. as an Human Resources Development Manager. Prior to Plexus, Michelle was a Human Resources Business Partner at EAA.

Michelle is very passionate about HR, developing the next generation of HR professionals and community involvement

Elaine Ruh – VP of Electronic Communications

Elaine has been in the Human Resources field for 10 years in a variety of industries and functions. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at the College of Business at UW Oshkosh in May 2008. She also earned her Master’s in Business Administration from Concordia University in 2016. She earned her PHR in 2013 and SHRM-CP in 2015. 

Currently, Elaine works at Heartland Technology Group as a SR HR Generalist, taking care of benefits, 401k, and general HR functions. 

Becca Hovell – VP of Professional Development 


Becca Hovell, SHRM-CP has been in the Human Resources field for over 5 years. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and Organizational Leadership through Rasmussen College in 2015. Becca had obtained her SHRM-CP in December of 2017. Becca has also helped facilitate some of the sessions for the Fox Valley SHRM study group.

Becca currently works for Limitless Possibilities LLC in Appleton as a Human Resources Specialist. In her role, she supports recruiting and does all onboarding in Green Bay and Oconto, training supervisors and staff on different topics, and supporting the Human Resources Manager anyway possible. 

Becca is dedicated to learning and growing within the HR profession. She also enjoys helping others achieve their SHRM certification goals. 

Kiersten Gustafson  – VP of Marketing and Public Relations


Kiersten Gustafson has over 15 years’ experience in Human Resources and staffing, working for companies in Eau Claire, Madison, and Appleton. She received her degree in Hotel Management in 1995, with an emphasis in business. Kiersten has served on various committees with FVSHRM in the past seven years, including membership and programming. Most recently she headed the welcoming committee.

In her role as a District Manager in Major Accounts for ADP, she partners with midsize businesses to find game-changing solutions for their business process challenges. My background in the industry has provided her with important insight and experience in helping companies in several industries, including healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, retail, and more.

Kiersten looks forward to using her communication, board, and social media skills to inspire and engage professionals across the Fox Valley to think strategically about managing, engaging and retaining human capital. She looks forward to utilizing her skills to helping the chapter grow.
